“SFCG”, the well-known explosion-proof products manufacturing company in India, began with a humble beginning in the year 1989 in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was at the time known as Perth Electricals Controls & also known as Boniminum Enterprise. It was founded by Mr. Jaydeep Kotak. In a short time, SFCG became a well-known quality brand company in India.

Hailing from a business background, Mr. Jaydeep Kotak had wide experience in multiple areas of business such as electrical contracting, military engineering service and panel building.

SFCG started its operation from a 400 sq. ft. area in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. The company manufactured Ex-protected products like lighting fixtures, switchgears, instrumentation, junction boxes & panel boards.

Their main market was the refineries that were coming up in a big way in the year 1989. The company soon discovered another major market for its products in various industry segments like pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, etc.

Meeting the individual requirements of these industries required special attention to the initial engineering designs and manufacturing of quality products at affordable price. The dependability of the design and the quality of the products made SFCG a trusted supplier to these industries.

With this achievement, SFCG aspired to foray into the international market. For this, the company actively was in search of global partners who would not only help SFCG in entering the international scene but also further strengthen its position in the Indian market — and has already entered the international market.

All the products are approved as per the latest Indian Standards IS 13346-2004, IS 2148-2004 and international standards IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-1 (2001), with 60 Hz, suitable for use in hazardous location Div-1 Gas Group II & II B and with Gas Group “IIC” for hydrogen areas, with one of the biggest product ranges in India.
